Selected work

Website builder admin application

multi-tenant SaaS

The authoring surface for a multi-tenant website builder: a unified page builder, menu and widget builders, a media library, a rich text editor, and a submissions inbox. Publishing runs on draft and live snapshots with per-page history, autosave, and undo/redo, alongside a floating preview card with device presets, viewport clamping, and cross-window theme sync.

Grew the content widget catalog from 9 to 36 types
rust · webassembly · axum · postgresql

Professional-services automation platform

product engineering

Billing and contracts with invoice generation from billable time, recurring invoices, and hour-balance consumption. A business-hours-aware SLA engine raises at-risk and breach notifications through a sweep worker. Scheduling expands RRULE recurrences into a dispatch view, and a knowledge base adds a publish lifecycle, version restore, and trigram search.

Authored and renumbered a 97-migration SQL tree
rust · axum · sqlx · postgresql

Automated code-audit platform

internal tooling

Runs security, optimization, logic, and UI-consistency passes on a weekday rotation, files findings straight into the issue tracker, and keeps a standing coverage table. Every finding first passes an adversarial verification stage where independent coding agents try to refute it and default to refuted, so a machine-generated backlog stays credible instead of noisy.

409 verified findings across one multi-repository pass
coding agents · scheduled runs · issue-tracker integration

Automated contract review system

self-directed

Compares executed contracts against approved templates clause by clause, pairing layout-aware OCR for scanned documents with automated risk scoring and human review of every flagged deviation. Findings trace to a specific page, paragraph, line, and span, and results land in an append-only log with cryptographic chaining.

118 Python files, roughly 29,000 lines, with tests and docs
python · tesseract ocr · rest api · document segmentation

Vybe, music collaboration platform

capstone

Coordinated a seven-person team through a semester-long capstone while owning the backend: REST APIs and PostgreSQL models for social groups, shared playlists, account settings, and music-library workflows, plus Spotify and YouTube import and export and the authentication callbacks behind shared account access.

160 of the project's 323 commits
next.js · typescript · supabase · playwright

Document vectorization service

retrieval

Ingests TXT, PDF, and DOCX files, chunks their content, generates embeddings, and stores and queries the vectors to power semantic search. Document loading runs in parallel and embedding calls are batched, with source metadata and ordering preserved so every retrieved chunk stays traceable to where it came from.

python · fastapi · qdrant · vector search

Also building

Eldercare

Care coordination for an aging parent's medications, appointments, and documents. One vertical in a multi-app suite: shared auth and storage, isolated Postgres schema, and a due-items endpoint a central hub aggregates.

next.js · fastapi · supabase

RigWatch

A Windows system monitor and mesh-VPN tray app, migrated from a WinForms prototype to clean MVVM with a provider-based monitoring architecture. Driverless by design: no kernel drivers, no administrator rights.

avalonia · .net · c# · sqlite

Amma

A local-first desktop assistant with automatic message correction, grounded knowledge search, and a text-first reader mode, structured as a monorepo with shared type contracts between client and backend.

tauri · react · typescript · fastapi

FocusForge

A planner-first productivity app with optional game rewards, spanning a backend, a mobile client aligned to the same domain model, and a row-level-security schema.

fastapi · flutter · supabase

Approach

I own problems end to end: the interface, the service behind it, the schema underneath, and the pipeline that ships it.

Readable systems over clever ones. The next person to read the code is usually me, six months later.

I care about the boring parts: migrations, validation at the edge, and tests that fail loudly before a user does.

Automation earns trust by being falsifiable. A finding that cannot be substantiated gets discarded, not filed.

Experience

Junior Software Developer

Nice Guy IT · Remote
  • Built and shipped the admin web application for a multi-tenant website-builder SaaS, covering content authoring tools, versioned publishing with page history, and live preview.
  • Led engineering on a professional-services automation platform: set priorities in daily planning, owned the shared issue backlog other contributors worked from, and guided them through code review and merges.
  • Designed billing, contract, scheduling, and SLA subsystems on PostgreSQL, covering recurring invoicing, contract hour balances, RRULE recurrence expansion, and business-hours-aware breach alerts.
  • Secured sign-in across three products with Google OAuth 2.0 and OIDC, login rate limiting, explicit CORS and CSP policy, and constant-time verification of payment webhook signatures.
  • Established automated testing from scratch, writing end-to-end specs in Playwright alongside Rust unit and integration tests, then gated CI on them so regressions failed the build.
  • Automated recurring code review by building an internal audit platform that scans on a schedule and files findings to the issue tracker, discarding anything a verification pass cannot substantiate.
  • Expanded a chat product from 2 to 24 theme combinations and authored a contrast verifier that asserts every palette and mode pairing in CI.
  • Debugged end-to-end CI flakiness to root cause, headless browser crashes from shared-memory exhaustion, and fixed the cause rather than adding retries.

Software Analyst Intern

Smartsoft International · Remote
  • Developed a Python and FastAPI service that ingests TXT, PDF, and DOCX files, chunks their content, generates embeddings, and stores and queries them in a vector database for semantic search.
  • Parallelized document loading and batched embedding calls while preserving source metadata and ordering, so retrieval stayed traceable as throughput improved.
  • Structured ingestion as modular loaders and endpoints, letting new document sources be added without rewriting the service.
  • Contributed to code review, architecture discussions, and reliability work across backend and document-analysis workstreams.
